These are "Quick Response codes" that you can scan in with your mobile and you are taken to the URL that it is coded with. Especially useful when out and about, the user can save the bookmark for later or view the site straight away.
These are appearing more and more, and can appear in a variety of uses;
An estate agents window - each property can have a code which in turn links to the properties URL on the website.
A gig or concert - the advertising, paper and electronic, can have the code which again, links to the site.
The options are endless and are merely down to requirements.
